My doula packages and services are listed below but first...Why choose me as your doula?

Thanks for considering me as your doula. I'm here to explain why I am the perfect fit for you.

Here's what makes me stand out:

Birth Geek

I love all things birth. I am knowledgeable and stay up to date with the latest research, making sure you get the most accurate and evidence-based information. I have extensive experience in all sorts of birth scenarios and can provide guidance and support throughout.

Tailored TLC

Your pregnancy and birth experience is completely individual, and I totally get that. We'll take the time to get to know each other and determine your preferences for your birth, along with addressing any fears, and concerns. As your doula, I really care about your well-being and want to help you achieve your dream birth. Together, we'll create a personalised birth plan that aligns with your values and desires and I will do everything I can to create a safe and nurturing environment where you're heard, validated, and supported.

Good Vibes

I have a lighthearted and humourous approach to life and aim to bring joy and positivity to our time together. Laughter can help ease tension and create a relaxed atmosphere in the early stages of labour, contributing to a more positive birth experience. But don't worry, I know when to dial it down and create calm and relaxation in the birth space.

ADHD Superpowers

As someone with ADHD, I understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with this. I'm great at navigating potential distractions and staying focused on giving you unwavering support in the birth space. My ability to adapt and think on my feet allows me to be flexible in any birthing situation.

Hypno-Wizard

In addition to being a doula, I'm also a certified hypnobirthing teacher. I've got all the tools and techniques to help you achieve a calm and relaxed birthing experience. Hypnobirthing promotes deep relaxation and aims to reduce fear and pain during birth. I can guide you and your birth partner through these practices, to enable you to have the positive and empowering birth that you want!

Home Ed Mama

You might be wondering why I'm mentioning home educating my kids in a section about why to hire me as your doula, so let me explain. For me, home ed isn't about textbooks and maths equations; it's all about fun, creativity and customisation. Just like I adapt my teaching to my kids' individual styles and interests, I bring that same flexibility and open-mindedness to support you during your pregnancy and birth. It has also given me excellent skills in conflict resolution thanks to sibling squabbles, but rest assured, I don't anticipate having to break up any fights at your birth – that's definitely not on the agenda!

It's All About You

Just as I encourage my children to take an active role in their education, I will encourage you to actively participate in your birth planning. To think about what's important to you. I'll provide evidence-based information, help you understand your options and rights, and support you in planning for the birthing experience that aligns with your values and desires. Your choices matter to me and I'm committed to honouring your preferences, even if they deviate from mainstream expectations.

It's so important to have a doula you click with, and with my passion, expertise, empathy, and ability to bring laughter and joy, I'm here to fill that role. It would be an absolute honour to join your birthing team.
